My Story

My name is Lindsey, I am a licensed massage therapist, craniosacral therapist, and herbalist. I grew up in rural northern Michigan, spending countless hours in the forest, and swimming in the great lakes. Just over a decade ago I found myself moving across the country and to the pacific northwest. I feel so grateful to currently call the Columbia Gorge home. Connecting with the land around me has always been a constant in my life. It is where I feel the most connected to myself and where I draw the most inspiration from. Body of Earth is inspired by this lifelong relationship and practice of connecting with the natural world. 

I have been immersed in the study of movement practices, therapeutic massage, and bodywork for the past twelve years. I have been a practicing massage therapist for the past nine years. As an experienced practitioner, my approach as a massage therapist and bodyworker stems from a practice of connection and of listening. We live in a world of constant stimulation, full schedules, and often a sense of overwhelm. My hope is to provide a space to slow down, settle into the body, and together, listen to how your body can best be supported with bodywork and movement practices.

When not in my studio, I can often be found creating pottery, skiing, hiking, reading folklore and fairytales, and spending time with my friends and family.
